   As per the model recruitment rules, it is essential to amend the RR every 5 years when the strength of lower and higher cadres change. (As such the ratio between ministerial cadres and steno must be 12:1 ! ) The Department is following 1985 RR for Inspector promotion – which should have been amended 5 times by now !

   this model recruitement rule is a trap. From MTS to TA 11 years
   From TA to Sr.T.A 10 years.
   From T.A to Sr.T.A promotion is getting within three to five years. Creating about 6000 vacancies in S.T.A
