   Why this CAT Mumbai’s order accepted by the Board for granting of advance increments for passing the Departmental Examination of higher cadre can be extended to all similarly placed officials of the Income Tax Department throughout all the Principal CCIT Regions by a common Board’s order.

   If the Kerala CCIT(CCA) issues orders to grant the two increments for Office Supdts and Sr.TAs who have passed the ITI Exams immediately based on the above CBDT ‘s acceptance this would avoid many unnecessary litigations
