Dear ITEF Office Bearers
it is heard that those who passed the Department Examination 2013, they will not be considered for DPC to be held beofore 05/06/2014 and thus they will be barred from the promotion. All the members have given their effort for the creation of CR VACANCIES , then how those members who are qualified before the meet of DPC, will not be considered.
It is requested to the Federation that Condonation from the CBDT may be called for with regard to the Exam qualifying criteria in respect of Departmental Exam 2013 viewing that Cabinet Approval, Notification and meet of DPC everything resulted after the Result of Deptt. Exam 2013. So much So that DPCs are being conducted in the Next Recruitment Year. The above condonatin request will be great justice to the all seniors who passed the Department Exam. 2013. This situation is really exceptional and not happens frequently. Hence Federation must come forward to take up this matter and do needful to seek condonation before the meet of DPC. Hope federation will take initiation in this regard.

WHO IS TO BLAME
Last cadre restructuring happened in 2001. Originally 242 Inspectors post were allotted to Kerala Charge. Subsequently it increased to 252. Thanks to the efforts made by Shri Babu Thomas.
By the time in 2009 252 posts were decreased to 216 (See Disposition List 2009) it again decreased to 202. Nobody cared to notice this fact because we were busy in infighting.
In the year 2009 when it was noticed and reported to Shri Babu Thomas, who was the then ITEF General Secretary, he understood the fact taken up the issue in all India Level. Again thanks to Shri Babu Thomas. The effort taken by Shri Babu Thomas was continued by the new General Secretary Shri Narayana Hari, who argued vehemently and with the support of Shri Babu Thomas, Jt. Secretary, ITEF (CHQ), we got maximum number of Inspectors now in RC 2013.
Why I should point out this fact here is because, I would like show what we lost due to infighting and not given our attention to the real things. For this I am taking the data from 2008 onwards only and if you are ready to evaluate previous years data from 2001 onwards, the situation will be alarming.
If the 252 stood as on date on the basis of RR for ITI, 2/3rd of the total post i.e. 168 posts will be available promotion. Based on this I would like to give here under the position of it is from 2008 onwards

If 1/4th of 53, quota for Stenographers Cadre i.e. 18, is decreased, 35 Ministerial Cadre Employee lost promotion in time. If this could have been happened There will not be a single persons as per Disposition List as on 2013 in the cadre of O.S. as on 31/12/2013.
If 252 posts was still there, now there would have been 91 posts allotted in CRC 2013 against which 61 post will be promotion and 45 post would be for Ministerial Cadre. Of course, if such things happened, as in All India Phenomenon UDCs of 2009 or more would have been Inspetors in Kerala Charge also.
On the contrary Stenographers will be getting promotion as ITI on a later Seniority Position as in Tamil Nadu or Mumbai.
So please stop infighting, because of this we lost a lot as detailed above. Our present Kerala ITEF leadership fought to make it good what is lost. Give faith to them. They will do good for all of us. Once again STOP INFIGHTING. Together we can win our goal.
The outcome of the brazen, ulterior propaganda spearheaded by d national leadrship of ITEF. No better way 2 protect stenographers. More than 20 posts of ITIs in Kerala charge will lie vacant for want of qualified stenos
The State leadership must contact other state leadrships 2 check d national leadrship from acting against d interests of ministerial staff, comprising more than 80 % of ITEF members. DOWN DOWN YUDAAS ! # @ !
